Themed Customer Panels

There are currently ten Themed Customer Panels, covering a variety of subjects:
  • Best Value
  • Community Health and Safety
  • Editorial Board
  • Energy, Efficiency and Environmental
  • Equality and Diversity
  • Housing Needs and Management
  • Housing and Development
  • Retirement Housing Forum
  • Litmus
  • Youth - called AIR

Each of these Panels look at different themes relating to housing, the work Aragon does and the services we provide.

Most Panels, with the exception of the Editorial Board and the Litmus Panel, meet on an eight weekly basis. The Editorial Board meets twice around the production of each edition of Intouch, the Aragon magazine and the Annual Report / Calendar. The Litmus Panel meets at short notice on issues not related to a specific Panel, e.g. new Anti-Social Behaviour documents.

Panels are also represented at other events, such as the Aragon Open Day 2006, external conferences and meeting with officers and tenants from other housing associations to share ideas and good practice.

Aragon takes its tenant involvement and consultation very seriously. Meetings are minuted, and where issues are raised they are given a code to ensure feedback is provided to Panels. The Customer Feedback Tracking System document gives more details on how issues are logged and tracked, from being raised to completion.
