Blues and twos
Aragon Community Development team are pleased to support the Blues & Twos discos that are run by the Police Community Support Officers. The discos take place each month in Mid Beds for young people aged 8 up to 14 years. The discos are free -although there may be a charge for some refreshments.
Thursday 30th October 08 – Shefford Community Hall – 6.30pm til 8.30pm
Youth Pub
This is a youth provision for young people in a town or village where one of the pubs allocates an evening to welcome young people to use their facilities. It is supervised by Beds Police or / and other agencies. It is free to attend, although soft drinks ONLY can be purchased. Ages 13 – 17 years.
Wednesday 22nd October 08 –Cross Keys Pub (High st Cranfield) – 7pm til 9pm
Volunteer Training
There is a training event for young people and / or adults who are volunteering or would like to get involved in volunteering. The event is called ‘TRAINED UP’ and takes place on Saturday 11th October 08 at Maulden Village Hall; 10am til 4pm. Its free to attend and transport could be provided in some cases.
