Kitchen Improvements

On a rolling basis, we refurbish kitchens to help keep them contemporary and in a state of good repair. Maintaining the Association's stock in good order is one of our long-term objectives and is a key part of our on-going 30 year major works improvement plan.

As part of the improvement process, you will:

  • be fully involved in planning your new kitchen
  • be able to design the layout around your existing appliances
  • choose the colours of the floor, wall tiles, cupboards, walls and worktop
  • always be left with a useable kitchen at the end of each day

After we have informed you that your kitchen refit is due, we arrange a convenient date to visit, and explain how your kitchen will be improved. We will measure your kitchen, so that we can design your kitchen based on your preferences.

We return a few weeks later with the plans, so that you are comfortable with the way your new kitchen will look. Once you are happy and have signed off the plans, our kitchen installers will contact you to schedule the most convieient time to start your improvements.

Every year, we update the colour choices with the least popular colour from the previous year being replaced. Our Customer Committee chooses the replacement colour scheme, ensuring that what ever colour scheme you choose, your kitchen will always be modern and stylish.

Our Customer satisfaction levels indicate that our tenants are very pleased with their new kitchen installation. Tenants that responded were 100% happy with the service they recieved, and equally happy with the workmanship and quality of their finished kitchen.

"I am 'over the moon' with my new kitchen, and was surprised that there was so little inconvenience and upheaval for such a mammoth job."

Mrs W, Westoning

"They all left my kitchen clean and tidy, even though I wasn't at home. They have all done an excellent job and everything had an excellent quality finish. So many people are quick to complain these days, and I believe that great work should be recognised and praised."

Mrs H, Flitwick
