Lifeline

Always at hand when you need it most

For just a small amount per week you can have a Lifeline emergency alarm system installed in your home, giving you independence and your family peace of mind.

The Lifeline alarm is connected to a control centre where fully trained, friendly operators are available to answer calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Lifeline consists of a unit and a pendant. The pendant connects the user directly to operators who can immediately summon the appropriate help when it is needed; this could be a family member, neighbour or the emergency services.

Knowing that help is available at the touch of a button is reassuring, especially if you are older, frail or have a disability.

 Around-the-clock care

Fully trained, friendly operators are on hand to answer your call 24 hours a day.

Once the call is registered with the control centre, the operator is immediately alerted to a possible emergency. They can summon help from family, neighbours, doctors or the emergency services, while offering you reassurance and support on the loudspeaker of the alarm.

Easy installation and peace of mind

We are normally able to complete the installation within days of receiving your order. As the Lifeline alarm works with your existing telephone, to install it in your home requires just two things: a telephone socket and a nearby electric socket.

Reassurance for people at any age

Although many of our Lifeline customers are older people, the service is open to all. Lifeline could be the support necessary to enable someone with a disability to live a completely independent life. Alternatively, if you live alone and feel isolated and vulnerable, help is at hand at the touch of a button.

 How to find out more

If you would like to find out more about the Lifeline alarm system, please complete the reply card or telephone Aragon Housing Association on 01525 840505.

Many additional features are available with Lifeline should you require them. For example, Lifeline can be set up to monitor whether the user has a fall, or to detect floods in the kitchen or bathroom, or for smoke/heat/gas/carbon monoxide levels detection. These sensors can be provided by our Telecare Service. Please ask about the service when you call.
