Mutual Exchange Register

The Mutual Exchange Register holds details of Housing Association/Local Authority tenants looking to swap their property for another.

Exchanges are organised by tenants contacting each other and agreeing to swap properties. If you find an exchange partner, please contact your Housing Officer for an application form for permission to move.

Please ask your Housing Officer or see Section 15 of the Tenants Handbook Click here for reasons why an application can be refused or the move delayed.

You can use this page to search for properties that are on the Mutual Exchange Register by property type, number of bedrooms and area. For details of the various property types Click here.
