About Aragon Housing Association

Aragon Housing Association was formed in 1994, following the transfer of 3,000 homes from the former Mid Bedfordshire Distict Council, now Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC). In November 1999, the association formally changed its name from Mid Beds Housing Association to Aragon Housing Association after a wide consultation with both tenants and staff. A further transfer of 3,100 homes from CBC took place in 2001.

Now with more than 6,500 homes, assets of £270 million and an annual turnover of £30 million, Aragon is one of the fastest growing ‘not-for-profit’ landlords in southern England. It owns and manages over 6,500 homes across Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Luton, Aylesbury and Cambridgeshire.
