Elizabeth House is in the attractive rural village of Langford, near Biggleswade. This peaceful village hosts the beautiful River Ivel, which is perfect for scenic walks. There is a popular social club in Langford, along with a welcome club for retired people, local shops and a doctor's surgery. Langford also has a voluntary care scheme that helps residents with small household task, shopping, gardening transport or running errands. Elizabeth House consists of 9 one bedroom flats, 9 one bedroom bungalows and 3 two bedroom bungalows, all with their own bathroom and kitchen and lounge. There are communal facilities including a kitchen and a lounge, where resiidents can take part in social activities. A travelling library visits the scheme regularly and there are regular coffee mornings, events and activities.
Staff and Support
Home Support Officers are based at most schemes and ensure you are safe and happy. You may opt to sign up to the communit Alarm Support Service which can include up to five visits a week from a home support officer should you want that extra piece of mind.
