Manor Court was refurbished in 2013, all of the flats had their kitchens and bathrooms refitted to a high standard.
Manor Court consists of 27 flats, 4 two bedroom bungalows and 12 one bedroom bungalows. All are fitted with an emergency alarm system.
There is a communal lounge, kitchen and toilets. The lounge is available to all tenants to hire for parties, anniversaries and social events.
There is also a guest room, a laundry and an assisted shower room for tenants to use.
The Home Support Officer makes regular contact with all tenants regarding their menu of support and to test the alarm equipment.
Tenants are encouraged to organise and join in social activities which include quizzes, bingo, coffee mornings, lunches, games evenings and various trips.
The travelling library calls regularly.
Marston Moretaine is a fast growing village and has a beautiful and very old church.
There is also the Forest Centre providing a lovely wetland park with wheelchair friendly routes, a café and a gift shop.
There is plenty going on in both the village and at Manor Court so there is no need to feel isolated.
From September 2014, there will be a bus stop outside the scheme for tenants to use without having to walk too far.
