If you have just moved to the Aragon Housing Association area you will find  plenty of organisations who are able to help you settle in and a wealth of interesting local places to visit.

Your local authorities can help provide you with information about local amenities and council tax. Depending on where you live they are:

Bedford Borough Council

Central Bedfordshire Council

Milton Keynes Council

The emergency services are contactable on the usual 999 number.

The headquarters for Bedfordshire Police is based at Kempston while a list of local police stations in the Milton Keynes area can be found on the Milton Keynes website, which also contains a host of information about what's going on in the local area.

Links to a local GP surgeries in the Bedford area can be found on the Local Life website  which also has details about local services and news.

If you're intersted in finding out about local children's services the Government website lists the Sure start schemes in your area.

Local places of interest

Woburn, the Swiss Gardens (pictured above) at Shuttleworth, and Milton Keynes are among the many local places of interest for as well as free play areas and parks in smaller towns around the area.
