Renting a home
Here at Aragon we pride ourselves on the services we offer, not only do we manage over 6,000 social housing tenancies, we also offer different types of homes to rent or buy, such as:
Renting a home from Aragon Housing Association
Aragon Housing Association works in partnership with the three councils in Bedfordshire (Bedford, Central Bedfordshire and Luton ) and bpha, who advertise Aragon available properties, through the Bedfordshire Homefinder choice based lettings scheme. To access this scheme you must first apply to the relevant council.
Intermediate or Market Rent
Intermediate rented properties are generally owned by housing associations and the rents are typically set at 80% (or less) of market rents. They are offered on assured shorthold tenancies with a minimum term of six months, similar to private renting.
Market rented properties are also generally owned by housing associations and the rents are set at market rents, the same as private renting. They are offered on assured shorthold tenancies with a minimum term of 12 months.
If you are already renting a property and wish to move, you could be eligible to swap with another customer.
If you are looking to buy a property, but you are unable to afford to buy a it outright, our sister company Grand Union Homes offer new and resale properties where you can part rent and part buy your home.
