Setting up a direct debit
Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay your rent.
Please download the form below, print out, fill in and send this form back to us (address is on the form) to set up a Direct Debit for paying your housing rent and garage rent.
Aragon Housing Association collects rent from most tenants over a 48 week period every year and the Direct Debit is currently set based on four weeks every month (making 48 rent weeks for the year).
From April 2017 we are changing how we collect some Direct Debit payments. If we currently collect your rent Direct Debit payments in arrears, we will review the amount you pay to ensure your rent is paid in advance, as per your tenancy agreement or lease. We will of course advise you in writing at least 10 days before any changed Direct Debit payment is collected in order that you can contact us if you have any queries or concerns about this.
When your rent changes we we will notify you of any changes to the amount to be collected and amend it, with the first Direct Debit of each rent year being taken on the 15th of April to allow the correct notification period in line with the Direct Debit guarantee.
